Intention

We are now most of the way through March and the Spring Equinox is upon us.

Do you make New Year’s Resolutions?  I usually don’t.  I just kind of wing it, with a vague idea of what direction I want to head during the year.

This year I tried something different.   For me, this year will be full of changes, new starting points, moving forward, personal growth and awakening.  I wanted my theme for the year to be  Intention.  I wanted to set down all the baggage I’ve been bringing forward, leave it behind, let it be finished.

Right away, a beautiful poem by Mary Anne Radmacher showed up on my Face Book page.  It put into words exactly what I was feeling and wanted to do:

She danced.                                                                                                  She sang. She took. She gave.                                                            She loved. She created.                                                                         She dissented. She enlivened.                                                           She saw. She grew. She sweated.                                                     She changed. She learned.                                                                   She laughed. She shed her skin.                                                       She bled on the pages of her days.                                                   She walked through walls.                                                                  She lived with intention.                                                                                              Mary Anne Radmacher

I love to dance, so this spoke to me right away and created a picture in my mind.  I immediately printed it out and taped it up in my kitchen where I see it several times a day.  It energizes and focuses me and reminds to infuse my day with Intention .

Setting down baggage and letting things end is not easy.  It is not an all or nothing decision.  For me it is about letting things end in the form they are currently in, and then feeling if there is a new form taking shape or if there is space created for something completely new to come in.  And it’s a process.

To go along with this idea, I randomly selected three Angel Cards.  I ended up with Freedom  – “You are free to change your experience by changing the criteria upon which you base your decisions.  Let go of old trappings and express your uniqueness”; Forgiveness – “Let go of resentments, judgments and fears and reduce your investment in staying hurt or angry. To forgive is to live in a world that is at peace with human nature”; Enthusiasm – “Be present with zestful alertness! Loosen your constraints and let your passion for life uplift others and generate new opportunities”.

All of this has come together to support me on my journey.  Who knows where this will lead?!

What is your Intention for the year? I hope you enjoyed reading this.  Peace Love & Light

Super Blue Blood Moon

So this has been an interesting start to our New Year of 2019.  We had a Full Supermoon on the first day of the first month of the year and now we will have a Full Supermoon and Lunar Eclipse on the last day of the first month of the year.  This is the grand finale of a trilogy of Supermoons that have been taking place since December 2017.

It is a Supermoon because the the moon will be at a point in it’s orbit that is closer to earth.  It is a Blue moon because it is the second full moon in the same month.  The moon will have a reddish orange tone because of the Lunar Eclipse that will occur.

All of these occurrences at one time are rare.  This will be the first ‘Super Blue Blood Moon’ to be viewed from earth in 35 years.  It has been 150 years since this event has been able to be seen in the Americas.

During the early hours of Wednesday morning, Jan.31, is when the Eclipse occurs.  So get up early on Wednesday and look low in the western sky to be able to watch this amazing event.  The eclipse begins at 3:48 am; totality begins about 4:52 am and lasts until 6:05 am.

Happy Viewing!

Crystal Grids

Using the energy of Gemstones

Inner Oasis carries a wide range of gemstones; they are indeed beautiful, however, our primary interest is their energy.

Malachite – a powerful healing stone.

One of my personal favorites is Malachite – a stone that amplifies all energy (positive and negative), and is a powerful stone for protection, healing, and transformation.

You’ll often find me with stones in my pockets, handbag, on the window sills, and  even in flower pots!  Perhaps the most efficient way to utilize the energy of your gemstone is with a Crystal Grid. Grids are made by intentionally placing stones in a geometric pattern for the specific purpose of directing energy towards a goal.

Angel Communication Grid

Shown here is an Angel Communication Grid: a hexagon with a selenite pyramid as a keystone, two red jasper grounding stones, six sapphires and one moldavite.  The Sapphires call upon the light energy of the Angelic Realm while the pyramid protects your subconscious from other connections. The grounding Red Jasper supports the manifestation of your intention to communicate with your Angels.   created by James Goings, Jr., our Gemstone Expert.

A Shaggy Dog Story

My New Year of 2018 started out with a powerful reminder from the Divine Universe that when you leave yourself open to messages and answers, they do come through.  Sometimes softly, sometimes loud and clear, and usually unexpected.

To back track a bit, we used to have a dog.  She was with us for 7 years.  Since my husband wasn’t, and still isn’t, a “dog person”, the fact that we had one was amazing!  She came into our family at the right time and was the right dog.

Now I find myself in the position to possibly have another dog.  I woke up on Tuesday January 2nd thinking about this possibility, and all the things that might not work, and why I wanted a dog etc.  I decided that if I’m supposed to have one, the right dog will come into my life with no effort, just like the many cats we have had over the years.

Imagine my surprise when that same afternoon there was a knock at the door and standing there were two of the guys working on the road near my house, and they were holding this shivering little dog wearing a Christmas sweater!!  My two thoughts at that exact moment were “NO WAY did the Universe answer that fast and obvious” and “your assignment, if you choose to accept it…”  They had found the dog out running around all of their big equipment in the construction area and thought it might have mine.

I took the dog, checked for a collar (there wasn’t one), made it warm and comfy,  and called YC Pet Heroes (they are a great group that help with lost & found pets and are on Face Book) to come and scan the dog for a chip.  There wasn’t one.  Since it wasn’t a problem for me to keep the dog for a bit, she was left with me and we got started trying to find the owner.

By Wednesday afternoon there had been no word from an owner and I was contemplating whether or not I wanted to keep this dog.  I had to return some mis-delivered mail to a house at the top of the  ul-de-sac across the street and I asked if they knew of anyone  that had a small dog like the one that had been found.  They didn’t, but suggested calling Homeward Bound.  I made that call as soon as I got home and explained about the found dog.  Within 15 minutes they had called back saying they had just been contacted by someone who had lost a dog that sounded like the one I was caring for.  It was the dog’s owner and she came over right away to pick up her dog.

This series of events could have played out a couple of different ways.  As it is, on one level it was a taste of what having a dog again would be like.  On another level it was that powerful reminder that the Universe does answer and provide. Maybe not always in the way or at the time that we want or expect it to, but keep an open mind and be flexible if the answer you get doesn’t exactly fit your expectations.

I would still like a dog. This wasn’t the right time nor do I think it was the right dog, but I believe I was shown there is one somewhere in my future.

Blessings and Happy New Year to you all.  Be on the look out for synchronicity in your life!
