Microwave Dehydrating

My herbal pot gardens are producing extravagantly this year.  Rather than pull out the dehydrator I’m drying herbs in the microwave – it’s easy and quick.

Spread your herbs on a flat surface – one that allows the water to escape below. I use my LeKue steam case tray.

Heat at full power (800 W)* uncovered at intervals of 3 to 5 minutes, until they are fully dried. For best results turn the herbs over at each interval.
